​Tacoma Art Museum (TAM) is hosting Art AIDS America: Politics, Sex, Religion, Loss, Beauty, an exhibit about the history and impact of AIDS in the United States.  This is a national tour and will be in residence with TAM October 3, 2015 - January 10, 2015.

Calvary Lutheran Church is working in cooperation with TAM to present an AIDS Quilt Exhibit, Monday, October 12th through Sunday, November 1st.  A 12' x 12' block of the AIDS Quilt containing 8 panels will be on display in Calvary's vaulted sanctuary.

Exhibit
The AIDS Quilt is "the largest piece of ongoing community art in the world."  

During exhibit hours, you will have the opportunity to view the Quilt in an atmosphere of quiet contemplation.  

​A docent will be available to answer your questions.

Prayer & Remembrance Service
Sunday, November 1st is the final day of the exhibit.  It is also All Saints Day. Calvary is hosting a Community All Saints Prayer
& Remembrance Service at
​4:00 p.m.  

At the service, you will have the opportunity to place the name of a loved one lost to AIDS on a Memorial Display.
