Online Privacy Policy
Part A. Calvary’s Website
I. Privacy of Website Visitors
Calvary does not track visitors to Calvary’s website (calvaryfw.org). Calvary does not sell, share, or trade information regarding anyone who utilizes Calvary’s website.
II. Privacy of Calvary’s Staff
Calvary’s staff members’ names, photograph, and Calvary e-mail addresses will be made available on the church website. Personal staff e-mail addresses will only be made available with the permission of the staff member in question. No personal phone numbers or home addresses will be listed online for public viewing.
III. Privacy of Calvary Members
Calvary Member names may be listed on the church website in reference to a specific event or group. For example, “Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Support Group…Contact: Tim Riddle.” No personal e-mail, address, or phone number will be available for public viewing.
When a secure web portal has been established, aA password-protected online membership directory will beis made available to Calvary’s members on the website’s membership portal.
The website pdf copy of Calvary’s weekly bulletin is redacted to remove personal contact information and all prayer requests.
IV. Photography
Photographs taken on Calvary’s property or at Calvary-sponsored events are assumed to be available for publication by Calvary. This includes bulletins, newsletter (The Caller), church website, advertising, and Calvary’s Facebook page(s).

V. Privacy of Youth
Calvary does not provide the name or contact information for youth. The only exceptions to this rule are (a) the published “Serving in Worship” Schedule (available in the church lobbies and online at http://www.calvaryfw.org/serving-in-worship.html and (b) the annual list naming graduating high school seniors.
At the beginning of each school year and prior to special events such as Vacation Bible School, parents complete a Photo Release Form (available in the church office and online at http://www.calvaryfw.org/forms.html).
As stated in Section IV. “Photography,”
Additionally, photographs of students published online will not be captioned with full names.
Part B. Facebook
Calvary's Facebook privacy policy for Calvary’s online visitors, staff, members, and youth is in keeping with Calvary’s Website privacy Privacy policyPolicy. Facebook’s unique environment requires the following additional guideline:
All Calvary staff and online administrators agree to use Calvary’s social media outlets in respectful, thoughtful, and useful ways. Specifically, this means all Calvary social media posts will be:

- Unless otherwise specified, permission to publish photographs is assumed.*
- Photos are generally taken in public spaces at public events.
- Photos that would obviously embarrass anyone or be considered inappropriate will not be published.
- Photographer recognition will be given whenever possible.
- Photos will be removed immediately upon request.
- A “photo refusal” form is available in the church office for anyone who does not want their photograph published. Church office staff will do their utmost to honor this request.

Calvary's Facebook privacy policy for Calvary’s online visitors, staff, members, and youth is in keeping with Calvary’s Website privacy Privacy policyPolicy. Facebook’s unique environment requires the following additional guideline:
- Calvary staff and members may “tag” other Calvary staff and member photos published on Calvary’s Facebook page(s).
- Staff and members who do not wish to be tagged may remove their tag. (Guidance for this process is available in the church office.)
All Calvary staff and online administrators agree to use Calvary’s social media outlets in respectful, thoughtful, and useful ways. Specifically, this means all Calvary social media posts will be:
- free from profanity, vulgar or disrespectful language,
- free from confidential information or anything alluding to confidential information,
- free from political commentary or debate,
- free from religious debate, (Discussion topics should be worded in such a way as to invite discussion, not debate. Potentially explosive topics are to be carefully moderated.) and
- posted with awareness that items posted online exist forever; nothing is truly deleted.
