Endowment Team
Calvary’s Endowment Fund was initially created to enhance the work of the church by providing money towards establishing new ministries, extending current outreach and improving facilities in ways that go beyond what is possible within the general operating budget. It is funded by means of donations that are invested, with the income from the investments used to support activities of Calvary Lutheran Church.

The main activities of the CLC Finance Team:
- Review monthly financial reports (as prepared by the Treasurer and Financial Secretary) and provide the council a summary with recommendations for action
- Maintain a Financial Management Handbook of procedures
- Develop a proposed annual financial plan
- Identify potential candidates for the positions of Financial Secretary and Treasurer

Narthex Task Force
The goal of the Narthex Task Force is to make the Narthex a more open, lighter, and welcoming area.
Since 2015, they have...
· Covered brick walls with plaster board and walls
· Painted entryway a lighter color
· New furniture purchased and artwork created
· Martin Luther quote in vinyl lettering applied
· A new cross created at the “over-hang” area with our mission statement wording applied in vinyl lettering
· A new monitor mounted on the east wall for ease of access regarding CLC’s activities
· The east wall was re-painted along with some of the side walls
